Hahn, Loeser & Parks

This law practice was relocating their headquarters to the relatively new BP tower on Cleveland's Public Square.  A significant portion of their client portfolio were industrial companies based in Cleveland.  They were very enthusiastic about the possibility of utilizing elements from the steel industry, one of their clients, in the design.  The other driving design concept was the desire to display their significant collection of art in their new office.

Originally stainless steel was proposed to panel the elevator lobby in addition being used as the accent metal throughout the space.  When pricing was received and this material was not within budget, cold and hot rolled steel, primarily used in the automobile industry, were proposed and was the perfect solution.

The design of the plan removed offices from the building's four corners and allows natural light and views of the city and lakefront.  These corridors offered ideal locations for their collection.

My role in this project began in conceptual design and concluded with client move in.
